United Towards an Equal Finland

Seta - LGBT Rights in Finland aims for a society of equality and individual welfare that includes everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

We want to change legislation and attitudes through education and information and by co-operating with authorities and political decision-makers. In recent years, Seta has especially been focused on promoting equality among youth, improving the conditions for rainbow families and trans people and fighting against multiple discrimination.

Seta cooperates with the whole society and collaborates with a wide range of institutions and bodies. We are members of e.g. Family Federation, Finnish Youth Cooperation Allianssi and Finnish Society for Social and Health (SOSTE), as well as the international organizations for LGBTI* people, ILGA, Transgender Europe and IGLYO.
